About Wooden bricks
Wooden bricks by wood&dots are made of alder tree wood. This wood is mostly used as fuel here in Slovenia because people do not know its amazing features. It is light, quite hard and has a very nice colour. That is why we used it to make our wooden bricks. They are light, so they are safe to play, hard so they can not be damaged and they are light brown: like real bricks!
Wooden bricks are printed with colours certificated to be used on toys. They are not harmful and will not affect children’s health. But they will affect the bricks. Because wooden bricks look so much better with printing. 😊
Our wooden bricks are good for children. Through playing they will gain useful knowledge for life. They will learn about aesthetics, physics, construction and will get many other useful skills. The toy is also appropriate for older children, who are already thinking about professions; maybe this toy can help them to decide.
Wooden bricks can also be used in combination with other toys: dolls, cars, animals etc. and play will get even better.
