Our wooden trays are made of best woods and because of them, the tray will easily finish all the tasks given. The sides are made of solid wood and the plate is made of plywood, covered with veneer. There are different kinds of veneer, each with its own beautiful colours and textures, and all of them together make the tray even richer and nicer.
The surface is covered with »rustical« oil, which is a mixture of lin oil, tung oil and agrum oils. This oil will protect the surface from damage, but the coating should be renewed from time to time. If the tray gets soaked, it should be wiped and dried on air (without additional heat). This will preserve the tray as beautiful as new.
The fact is that the two trays are not equal. Even if they are made from the same woods, there will be a difference in colour tone and texture. And this is what makes the wood even more special.
